A MISO 4th of July Celebration in Peacock Park - 2024

Join us for an extraordinary evening of music and celebration at the “MISO 4th of July Celebration”! Delight in the sounds of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami, under the baton of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, as we gather at Peacock Park for an unforgettable Independence Day.

Experience the stirring melodies of Frank Von Suppé’s ‘Light Cavalry Overture’ and John Philip Sousa’s iconic ‘The Stars and Stripes Forever,’ alongside a lineup of patriotic favorites and beloved classics! With special performances by singer Gail Seay and Trumpet Virtuoso Morris Northcutt, and the fantastic World Premiere of “Legends” by the young 7 year old composer Mark Schmollinger, a MISO 2024 Commission.

Under the open sky, the orchestra’s awe-inspiring melodies will create a truly magical musical experience for everyone to enjoy while watching a thrilling firework show. The fireworks will illuminate the night sky with a dazzling display of lights, making this Fourth of July celebration truly one to remember.
