Young Venezuelan woman of 26 years old, born in La Victoria, Aragua State – Venezuela, the so-called City of Youth, motivated to achieve the dream of being one of the students of Grand Master José Antonio Abreu, participates in July 2009 in the audition of the La Victoria Youth Symphony Orchestra, achieving there the opportunity to join the La Victoria Youth and Children’s Symphony Orchestra, Aragua, an organization belonging to the System of Youth Orchestras and Choirs and Children of Venezuela created in 1975 by Maestro José Antonio Abreu who over time spread and expanded, under the philosophy of “music is a rescue path for integration”, in this way it manages to integrate and leave in all the cities of the country a System recognized worldwide for its successes.

After the Audition at the age of 11, Urielis began his musical studies in the choir, receiving musical language classes and four, in November of the aforementioned year he began taking Transverse Flute classes, with Professor Karl Sequera. He is a graduate student at the Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), an instrument that he currently plays.

In 2012, at the age of 14, she debuted as Conductor of the La Victoria Children’s Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Alfredo Ascanio and Conductor Yenny Noguera, an opportunity that was given to her to highlight and develop her qualities as a Conductor

In 2014, at the age of 16, she began professional studies at the Conservatory of Music Simón Bolívar from Caracas in the Transverse Flute Chair with Maestro Raimundo Pineda and began teaching flute classes at his center La Victoria.

At the age of 17 she entered the Chair of Orchestral Conducting at the same conservatory with the Teacher and Founder of “El Sistema” of Orchestras Gregory Carreño, also a Composer, Arranger and Director of Orchestras, there she is recognized as one of the youngest and most outstanding with categorical performance and perseverance in El Sistema.

Her debut as an Orchestra Conductor in the professional field was made in the 2nd course of Orchestral Conducting with the Dutch Maestro Dick Van Gasteren in 2019, who is Conductor Permanent guest and regularly conducts the famous Teresa Carreño, Simón Bolívar and Francisco de Miranda and teaches master classes in Orchestral Conducting to young talents from the Venezuelan System.

She has also received numerous master classes in the field of the orchestra with Maestros such as Dick Van Gasteren, Victor Jacob, Eduardo Marturet, Alfredo Rugeles, (Current Maestro) Pablo Castellanos (Current Teacher) Christian Vásquez, Jesús Uzcátegui, Mehdi Lougraida, Andrés David Ascanio, Borgan Ascanio, Alfredo Ascanio, Yenny Noguera, Joshua Dos Santos, Adrián Ascanio, Rubén Capriles (Current Master), Rafael Payare, José Ángel Salazar, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Jesús Parra, Diego Nasser, Paolo Bortolameolli, Marc Moncusi, Gonzalo Hidalgo, Eddy Marcano, among others musical personalities. And in Flute of the Masters Blangelys Hidalgo, Alexis Angulo, Raimundo Pineda, Andrés Eloy Rodríguez (current teacher), Huascar Barradas, Miguel Manriquez, Ornella Fermín, Glenn Egner and María Alejandra Jiménez, all at the time belonging to the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela.

Arroyo has conducted numerous youth and children’s orchestras, such as the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, the Juan José Landaeta Symphony Orchestra, the Montalbán Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Simón Bolívar String Quintet, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra of the West, the Evencio Castellanos Youth Orchestra and the Valles de Aragua Regional Youth Orchestra, (Current Director), El Consejo Symphony Orchestra, San Mateo Symphony Orchestra, Francisco de Miranda Symphony Orchestra, Aragua Regional Children’s Orchestra, Tachira Regional Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra. From 2018 to date she is Director of the Valles de Aragua Regional Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Urielis was invited by  Master Jesús Uzcátegui (Current Director of the Juan José Landaeta Symphony Orchestra), to be Assistant Conductor of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, the Juan José Landaeta Symphony Orchestra, and the Simón Bolivar National Choir in 2020, Professional and highly renowned Orchestras in the Country.

Among the recognitions received for her career and talent, her First Maestro, Alfredo Ascanio (Current Director of the La Victoria Symphony Orchestra) honored her with a black suede case and gave her the first baton and with which she made her debut at the head of the Victoria Children’s Symphony Orchestra in 2014. After the concert with the Francisco de Miranda Symphony in 2019 held in Caracas in the Simón Bolívar Room of the National Center for Social Action for Music, Maestro Gregory Carreño gives him his first Tricolor necklace that had belonged to the Master José Antonio Abreu.

Due to her outstanding and impeccable career, in 2020 the young 24-year-old director was invited by the president of the Jord Lu’um project in Mexico, Mr. Pedro Humberto Gómez Moreno, who extended her an invitation to play at the Festival of the Day of the Raza in the State of Toluca and other States of Mexico, this in the month of October when the Latin American Music Festival will take place whose participation will be with the Camerata Kuara-Metztli to direct and represent the music of his native country, Venezuela.

For the month of November 2021, the outstanding Director was chosen by the Orchestra System as one of the six Directors to conduct in the Guinness Record attempt, the award was awarded on November 20, 2021 as the Guinness Record for Venezuela “The Largest  Orchestra in the World.” It should be noted that after the Guinness Record she has had countless invitations to conduct the orchestras belonging to the states of her native country Venezuela.

Simultaneously with her musical training at the Conservatory, in the Transverse Flute and Orchestral Conducting courses, she studied Psychology at the Bicentenaria University of Aragua, currently (2025) she has a degree in psychology, along with a diploma in Aeronautical Psychology and English courses in the ASOCIM Academy. For the talented young woman, her academic training is essential to achieve her dreams, since it is not only important for herself, but also to infect all those who have a goal and do not dare to follow it.

In November 2022 he participated in the 2nd Lake Como International Orchestral Conducting Competition, in the city of Bellano, Italy. Held from November 15 to 20 in the beautiful country of Italy, reaching the second round.

In January 2023, she was selected among the 60 conductors from around the world as the only Venezuelan to participate in the international orchestral conducting competition “The Call of the Directors 2023” held in Budapest, Hungary from January 26 to 31, 2023.

For the August dates, Arroyo has been invited for 2 consecutive years (2022-2023) to Conduct the Tachira Regional Orchestra in the Tribute to the Patron Saint “Santo Cristo de la Grita” concert in La Grita, Tachira State. Saint to whom she is devoted since her childhood.

On October 9, 2023, he was actively participating in the Orchestral Conducting course taught by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, who by Unanimous decision together with the Simón Bolivar Orchestra of Venezuela had the immense honor of conducting it in the closing concert

of the course on October 13, 2023 performing the 2nd movement of Brahms’ 3rd Symphony. Likewise, maestro Eduardo Marturet gave him a baton signed by him, Arroyo had the honor of premiering it at his concert with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela that same day.

•On April 7, 2023, he received the great news of finishing First Place in the “International Vivaldi music Competition” held online in the United Kingdom, in the “professional” category of “Orchestral Conducting”.

•On April 19, 2023 you also received the wonderful news of being “2nd Place” in “Beethoven International Music Competition” Held in the United Kingdom, where I obtained the silver medal in the “professional” category of Orchestral Conducting.

•On April 30, 2023, she was notified where she would be the Winner of the Gold Award (First Place) in the “Best Classical Musicians Awards” competition in the category of professional orchestral conducting, and the award for the best artistic performance, held in the United Kingdom so On-line.

•On May 8, 2023 he received the news where he won the 2nd prize in the First Edition of the “International Artists Competition” in the Orchestral Conducting category.

• On May 23, 2023 she was awarded second place in the “Elizabeth International Music Competition” held online in the United Kingdom, in the “professional” category of “Orchestral Conducting”.

• On June 2, 2023 she won First Place in the “Universal Star Music Competition” held online in the United Kingdom, in the “professional” category of “Orchestral Conducting”.

• On June 13, 2023 she won first place in the “Bach International Music Competition” held online in the United Kingdom, in the “professional” category of “Orchestral Conducting”.

•On June 17, 2023, he won 2nd place in the “World Grand Prix International Music Competition” held online in the United Kingdom, in the “professional” category of “Orchestral Conducting”.

•On July 9, 2023 he obtained “First place” in the “New York classical music competition”

•On January 8, 2024, she obtained “2nd place” in the “International Classical Music Stars Competition” held online in Poland.

Thus adding 3 medals (2 gold and 1 silver) in just 1 month of competition (April), and 6 medals (4 silver and 3 gold) in just 2 months. (May, June) adding 11 medals in international orchestral conducting competitions in 4 months of applications.

On October 28, 2023, she was invited by the Canaima System to give master classes and a final concert in the beautiful town of Canaima, Bolívar State. Venezuela And thus continue with her goal of directing all the boys and girls of El Sistema in Every Corner of her beloved Venezuela.

Currently, (2024) the young director has her own personal clothing brand UVACSTORE where she is not only dedicated to fashion, but also to supporting each of the children of El Sistema with rehearsal and concert uniforms, Arroyo continues to bet on the competitions both online and in person, and to the academies, to continue demonstrating the Venezuelan musical talent created by El Sistema de Orquestas, and continue bringing Medals to Venezuela.

The young Director expresses that belonging to the great family of El Sistema de Orquestas in Venezuela is a unique experience, they make you feel like family, since one of Maestro Abreu’s great purposes was to teach us that one of the reasons why we have to be united is through music, so just as we learn music we must teach music, thanks to that commitment he managed to change millions of people. Venezuela is one of the countries with the most talents in 2 and 3 year old children, where passion, perseverance, discipline and dedication are unmatched.
