
MISO’s Conducting Fellowship is designed to give an incredible opportunity to a talented young conductor. The purpose of the Fellowship is to expose young conductors to all aspects of leading a professional organization, including conducting, artistic and personnel management, education, and other production aspects.
Aspiring young conductors will work with The Miami Symphony Orchestra for a week during the 2025-2026 Season. The Fellow will cover rehearsals, taking balance notes, and provide support in all artistic and production aspects of the performance. Fellows will also participate in MISO’s educational and outreach programs, while receiving mentoring from Maestro Eduardo Marturet.

The Conducting Fellow will need to commit to at least four subscription concerts in MISO’s 2025-2026 Concert Season.
The Fellowship is tuition-free.
A small stipend will be offered to help cover the costs of travel if needed.
