Parga, Greece – July 24, 2024 – The Municipality of Parga is delighted to announce a first concert of the festival Allegro Altissimo with Greek ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra and guest Conductor Maestro Eduardo Marturet, celebrating their 70th anniversary. This concert aims to blend Greece’s rich cultural traditions with international musical excellence.

The concert in Parga, one of Greece’s premier tourist destinations, will be held on September 12 offering an enchanting evening of music.

It will consist of two parts: the first part led by Maestro George Aravidis, conducting a selection of songs featuring an anthology of Greek music. This will be followed by a special program curated by Maestro Eduardo Marturet, who will conduct a mix of international and American genres, including works by Piazzolla, Gardel, Shostakovich, Arnold, and Marturet, along with American favorites by Frank Sullivan and John Williams.
