May 1, 2008 | Opportunities for Gifted Youth in the Violin or Viola Sections are available through the Outstanding Young Artists Programs In preparation for the upcoming 2008/2009 season, the Miami Symphony Orchestra has awarded three new chairs in the Outstanding Young Artists Program--two in the Double Bass section, and one in the Violin section. A call is now out for talented young musicians interested in auditioning for two additional openings in the violin or viola sections.
